Hopes and Dreams

I am an artist, yet I have my moments where I feel less than creative. I will stare at my empty canvas (whether it is my sketchbook, computer screen, or other media), and wonder whether or not I am actually a true artist. Sometimes my imagination comes easy, other times I think for hours, or even days, to come up with a concept. But, there are also times that I just need a simple muse to bring out my creative spirit.

This doesn't only pertain to my artwork; I notice that in life I may spot a muse that helps me answer some questions floating around in my brain...whether it is about my dreams, career, family or a journey I feel the Lord may want me to take. Yesterday, I drove by such a muse.

As I was driving home from work yesterday, I drove by an establishment that gave me a GREAT idea for a venture I have been toying with...an endeavor I have been too chicken to try on my own. Ideas started flying through my head...ideas that may actually work. So, I'm going to be working on a plan of action and approach said establishment to see if they also feel it is doable. I'm excited about this idea, and will be praying hard that it actually plays out the way I have been dreaming about for years.

So, keep your eyes, and your heart open! You never know where an idea may come from!
